A New Accessory for my 10ER!
Hi Guys, First of all, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to All!! Ok, I just received an original lamp attachment part #(12-013) for my 10ER and I wanted to share the excitement with you all. With the pictures I have posted does anyone know what the original color was used on the lamp socket? It ...

Re: 10er Dial Indicator.
I’ve noticed that the early ShopSmith that I have (1949) doesn’t have a chrome dial indicater and spring cover, also it has a smaller notch, but the later model has a chrome dial indicator and spring cover, and has a wider notch to lock in the headstock bump.

Believe me, I do have the belt cover but it’s not painted yet. I’m working on this shopsmith slowly. But thanks for the heads up!!

10ER Addiction again.
Hi Guys, It's been awhile sense my last posts. So here are some pictures of the newest 10er. A friend/co-worker of mine said I can have his 10er. It came with some neat stuff and another set of SS metal legs. I think I might use this one as a dedicated drill press cause there's not many attachments....

Re: RE: Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
I bet at one time the jointer was an add on but the person couldn’t find the motor extension and the 5 inch pulley kit. So it was this setup that was used. Very ingenious setup as long as it works. All on one bench! Dave V. I wonder if Magna originally planned the 4E to be able to be run standalone...

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
The longer bench is especially nice. I have to question the pulley setup on the jointer though. Typically the motor would have a 5" pulley. But since I don't know the rpm of the motor... I bet at one time the jointer was an add on but the person couldn’t find the motor extension and the 5 inch...

Re: Mark 5 Miter for the Model 10E & 10ER
Russ,
Will the standard Mark 5 miter work on the 10ER table or will the safety grip fit on the 10ER miter?
