Yay or Nay Shopsmith accessory.

Would anyone know if this is a Shopsmith accessory. It was given to me when I picked up my ShopSmith from my friend. His dad had lots of stuff.

Re: New ShopSmith Owner!

Gotcha JP,
I'm going to make a small wooden box to hold my ShopSmith extras! I just keep that stuff there so they don't get lost. But I do see your point LOL! I was originally talking about the sticker taped to the leg end.

Re: New ShopSmith Owner!

Just messing around with the 12 inch disc sander attachment after repainting, and a temporary sticker on one of the legs. Here are some pictures!

Re: New ShopSmith Owner!

Thank you all for the wonderful reply! I was scratching my head wondering if that bolt was the OEM one that should be there or not. I guess my friends father either broke or lost the original bolt. I will most likely use the one off the extra 10ER that I have. Thanks Ron for the picture of the saber...

Re: New ShopSmith Owner!

Thanks Russ! I appreciate the info that you and the other members have shared. Here are some pictures of the Jigsaw all done. The Jigsaw works very well! One puzzling question, How does the saber saw support (134-13) work, as I see a hole in the post and a adjusting jam nut. I don't see anything on ...

Re: A-34 Jigsaw Blade Guide

So I guess the rubber shears apart when there is a very bad binding.

Re: A-34 Jigsaw Blade Guide

I wonder how the original ones are assembled. I think it's like a shear pin. But what holds it together. I'd like to see one that's broken.

Re: A-34 Jigsaw Blade Guide

I guess the Flexible Coupler is a discontinued item Too. Does anyone sell something like it. Yes Lovejoy makes a coupler that will work. I am not sure what the part number is but someone here will probably chime in with the correct number. http://www.lovejoy-inc.com/products/jaw-type-couplings/l-ty...

Re: New ShopSmith Owner!

Adding another picture of the 10ER project. The A-34 Jigsaw has been completely taken apart, cleaned and partly reassembled. Surprisingly the moving parts are tight for it's age. Cleaned up the bushings and re-oiled the parts. Flexible Coupling seems to be good too. I'd like to know where I can get ...
