They put me in the hospital for a couple of days. Ok so somehow I messed up my new knives. I will shift them up a bit. I will probably buy new knive...

Re: Jointer Knives
Yes. I used the ruler method advancing 1/8”. After I felt pretty confident I had a solid alignment I checked it with my new iGauging snap gauge. It told me I was dead on across the entire span of the knife. Maybe it is the feed rate? I was pretty tired. I will dig in deeper with some soft pine and t...

Re: Jointer Knives
Tight and vertical. More like ribbing than valleys. Very uniform. My first thought was could it be the grain of the Ash. It’s super CVG and maybe it is pulling the softer wood out??? But then I THINK? it happened on my Oregon Black Walnut as well… That I am not sure of. I was all beat up and tired. ...

Jointer Knives
Fellow Genius’s, I am having a bit of a problem with my jointer knives. I installed a new set. I am fairly confident that I have them all set spot on. I have been edge jointing Ash. Across the entire length of the edge I have uber small ridges. They are all parallel to each other. When I did the fac...

Bandsaw speed
Fellow Geniuses, I just completed a round of adjustments on my bandsaw. Lubed the wheel and adjusted my blocks, that sort of thing. I have a like new SS 1/4” blade mounted up. What is a solid standard speed setting in a letter? I have mine set at “B”. It just seems like it is dragging or not getting...

Re: Johnson Paste Wax
Hey guys! Thanks for all the positive feedback on JPW!! I have used it for over 50+ years. Since I was in Jr High School. Mike….. Why did they quit making it is the only note worthy comment? They shut off the tap January 31 2021. The reason is that it has an ingredient in it that the state of Califo...

Re: Johnson Paste Wax
I tried to post up more or different photos of the open can. It did not work. Let me know and I can send you additional photos. I hope I am in bounds with the Forum. I usually find myself outside the lines.

Johnson Paste Wax
My Fellow Geniuses, Please read every word of this. I bought (2) Two cans of new JPW on eBay. I paid $100.00 plus free shipping. $50.00 bucks a can. I was planning on giving one can to a friend but he declined. I need to sell off a can so I can buy stock for turning. I came up with a Grand Idea. Ple...
