Picked up my second shopsmith today
Picked up my second shopsmith today real happy to get another one. Been watching for one and it turned out to be a 510. Needs to be serviced but got a good deal on it $275.00.

Have a question on the variable speed control
Have a question on the variable speed control. Took it all apart today and cleaned all the pulley’s, porkchop etc. Lubed everything and put it all back together, so is there an adjustment for high and low speed? So do I adjust the dial to low when the belt is all the way up in the upper pulley? Hope ...

A newbie that has been lurking
Just a newbie that has been lurking for a while and thought I would sign up to the forums. Looks like a great place for a wealth of info. Bought a mark 5 in the early 80’s with all the attachments and made quite a few projects but just haven’t had the time to do much lately.
