A tension pin?

It looks like a pretty ordinary thing - but I guess its position is kind of important... easy to overlook, that's for sure.

After some experimenting with the disassembled fence, it became apparent to me that the clamping "foot" was not properly aligned in the fence assembly. I almost never use my SS Bandsaw for resawing, but the need arose the other day and I got out the fence and went through the fence alignment procedure as outlined in the booklet that came with the bandsaw. I first made sure the table alignment to the blade was correct.

Just noticed that when my DC300 dust collector is running, it sends a plume of dust out the rear louvers! The bag is nowhere near full.

Must be something simple, but need to know what it might be before I disassemble the beast - a messy job under any circumstances.

I guess, after poking around a bit, that lots of people sell the hose itself. But what you need to make the hoses fit the SS is the end fittings, which SS supplies already attached.

Woodcraft sells these fittings, along with the hose:

Time to replace the hoses on my DC3300. Shopsmith shows them as either backordered or mfd on demand - I don't think SS actually makes plastic hosing, though, so I suspect just not in stock.

Thanks for your suggestions! I reset the fence last night per your instructions. I am still looking it over, as there seems to be a very small gap between the fence and the table at the front (i.e. closer to the locking handle) end. It's as if the front end is not quite flat on the table.
