I'm Back! Sorta...

Been waaay too busy lately, but I'm considering selling the MKV we've been discussing for I've acquired a MkV with all of its handles and knobs and the Joiner, Belt Sander, Router shield, some sort of fence and the jigsaw for a great price. Problem is that surface corrosion is a problem again. I ...

Thanks for the quick reply. I knew the rip fence, I don't know the name of the thing the tubes go to. How hard is it to diagnose the Poly V or the floating sheave? The speed control knob binds. I tried to get a pic of the part where it is actually in contact with the housing but failed.

I took the pictures you asked for. My camera decided to die when I plugged it in. Now my computer won't recognize the memory card when I plug it in. luckily I'm building a home server PC and it should be back from assembly this week. All I did was carve out the back of a drawer in an Ikea ...

Thanks, I am considering trying to do a strip and cleaning, possibly a rebuild of the headstock. That MickyD guys 50+ page thread on his SS was EPIC for me to look through. Yes, the Miter gauge, that's what is bent, the blades are fairly sharp; I should take a file to it. I'm using my POS ryobi 18V ...

OH, yeah, the motor when it is spun up to Saw/Joint speed slows down every time I run wood into it. I have to do it in increments of about a 1/2 inch. Is this normal? Or am I getting exactly my $150 worth.

I am looking for attachment tips, but I just don't know what those things you listed actually mean. I will begin cross-referencing SS catalog with the ebay prices. I'm especially looking for the tools to do exacting work. I think the pusher is bent because I can't get a 90 degree cut out of it.
