Yeppers, its a raw deal as in my area theres companies almost begging people to take used pallets off their hands..We bought a LOPI ENDEAVOR this last Nov. I considered pallets till wife showed me articles..

Good intell for sure on the WS3000. Have a Northern Tool catalog with one in it. Am thinking about buying the Knife and Tool Sharpener AKA... WSKTS ..after reading a great review of it in Fish Fur and Game Magazine, as the machine is cheaper then paying for a professional job to sharpen knives.

So glad you posted this. I have yet to buy a ShopSmith as tax refund isn't back but I do like the idea of a expanding work table. Glad I saw this thread before I went out and bough a work table. Please keep us informed and post a photo or two.

Mini Mark V

I saw a ad for one for sale, made from spare parts. I am wondering what a full sized Mark V can do well that a Mini can't. Reason I ask is I will likely be a PLINKER. Meaning, Plink around with small tasks. Rather then waste money on separate tools, I like the idea of a 5 in 1. I am really Green alt...
