Re: Stimulus Check
The "send everybody" deal is probably best because the people who need it least are the ones paying the most in taxes and will be paying it back the most too in the future once the Government realizes that the bill is due. Even better than "send everybody" deals would be "se...

Re: Customer Service Update - January 2021
Hang in there and keep trying. I for one am willing to wait when I need support from Shopsmith. There is no other company left in existence that still provides parts and service for tools this age. Everyone else junked their old stuff years ago.

Re: aspire marketing
It does seem to me that the scam calls slowed down a lot over the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Years holidays and haven't yet quite ramped fully back up. Maybe all the scammers took a long vacation and will be back as soon as they spend all the stolen money.

Re: Dado Blade Advice
I say use whatever dado blade you have. I've had wobble and stacked blades. Both work well for any jobs I've attempted with them. I've had a steel one and a carbide one. Again, both work well. I've had a 6" one and a 8" one. Both work equally well. I have never needed to cut dados so deep ...

Re: Pro Planer Knife alignment issues.
I picked up a 1985 planer a few of years ago and somewhere along the line the alignment tool disappeared and was no longer with the planer. I simply ordered a new one from Shopsmith. A year or two after getting it, I decided that the blades needed sharpening so I pulled them out, had them sharpened,...
