Shopsmith Sliding Table

I see Shopsmith has the Sliding Table on sale. The photo is pretty poor but it sounds like something similar to the Dubby system I have for my Craftsman 113.xxx saw. I actually have a right side Dubby I was saving to try and modify for the Shopsmith. If this works it might be a good option. Any curr...

Hi Bob, I am over in Leavenworth and watch the same listings and also wonder what is going on. Pretty strange.

The Dubby sled will take care of the problem but I don't think he has a model for the Shopsmith. I have one on my Craftsman 113.xxx saw and it works great. I think there must have been a problem with someone tilting the sled off the end of the table on a Shopsmith. I am thinking about building one w...

I purchased and rebuilt a Craftsman 113.??? 10" saw last winter so that I could use a Dubby sled on it. I like having a larger saw but I think I can make the dubby work pretty well on the SS. The saw cuts great and is really quiet. I have it on a base so I can move it as necessary and keep it o...

I just left Walmart so it is a bit hard to stay focused on the season. Good to come home and read the best wishes from my Shopsmith friends. I am right in there with everyone wishing a happy greeting for whatever event you celebrate but for me it is definitely MERRY CHRISTMAS and Peace on Earth. As ...

The presenter here in the Kansas City area this year was Dave Folkerth. He did a great job. He had just sold a unit to a person and was tied up for a while doing paperwork. He appologived and i explained that I was a looker not a buyer, at least this year. I took my 36 year old son along. He had lot...

Here is a set up for cutting long boards using my B&D workmate as a base for a roller stand. Thanks to Doug Reid for showing me the set up.

Wecome to Shopsmith. There are lots of ways to do things and the Doug Reid youtube video will show you some interesting table configurations that might help. Cutting 4' x 8' sheets of material is never going to be good on most any table saw. It is much easier to purchase some type of guide system an...

I just recently need to rip a 10 1" x 6" board and by using the Doug Reid reverse the extension table trick and a roller stand at the end it was no problem. I do use my Craftsman tablesaw for large chunks of plywood but then there are better answers for that also.
