You will want to get a 1725 rpm motor for the belt sander. I have my SS band saw on a SS Power Station. SS 6" joiner, 6" belt sander are on stand alone wood stands. SS scroll saw in on a bench with a Oscillating drum sander and a Sears 10" band saw. Used an old electric trolling motor...

100% right. I guess it is just me and old school methods. Have done a lot of scroll saw work over the years on different saws but this is my first go with a Shopsmith. I let my boy have my AMT saw which was a super good saw but I opted for the larger table on the Shopsmith. Need to get the speed up ...
