The longer screws are more forgiving as to the size (width} of screwdriver that can be used. :)

We had a dog that did not like to have her picture taken, as soon as you got a camera or cell phone out to take her picture she would slink off and hide.
No clue as to how she knew, perhaps the CCD chip makes a sound we can't hear.

A different option you can look into is using an industrial sewing machine motor. see this thread.

Hello lahola1 Im interested in duplicating this system on my shopsmith. My thinking was that a VFD could run my motor but this idea with a a dc motor intreves me. I have a pair of 24" clamps that look the same other than the stickers.
I got them years ago from Lee Valley, but checking on their web page I don't see them listed anymore.

They have worked well for me.

Is there not a flat spot to tighten against, so you don't have to over torque them.

It does seem to me that the scam calls slowed down a lot over the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Years holidays and haven't yet quite ramped fully back up. Maybe all the scammers took a long vacation and will be back as soon as they spend all the stolen money. I think we were benefiting from COVID lock...
