If you have a fair amount of experience with a typical table saw, your muscle memory is yelling at you. Table saws are always a little scary, so the muscle memory thing is especially disconcerting. Hey, yall so I used the table saw (mode?) recently and just the height felt scary. normal table saws you raise the blade and obviously with this you move the table. has anyone made any quality of life improvements for this to feel safer? well good to know it's not a Shopsmith part I spent the better part of the day looking thru the 2 books I have.
it definitely looks to be carbide teeth (can't confirm the material but they are definitely brazed on) sheet metal is definitely a good thought.

What is this?

I inherited a shopsmith mark V.
I'm not new to wood working but I've never seen a blade like this with irregularly spaced teeth.
