Re: Share your Magna memorabilia!
I would say ss from 1976 I would agree! There was a period after Shopsmith, Inc resurrected the brand in 1972 that they were still actively supporting the old Model 10-E/ER machines with items like this. Can you say more about this?? Was this for your PP2, and if so, you had to return the whole headstock for this, or just the electronic interface?erectormik wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 11:44 am I recently returned mine for some programming update due to a few bugs that show up every so often.

Re: Share your Magna memorabilia!
I wanted to show some of my advertisement Dale - thanks for sharing, and contributing to the thread! Do you have a picture you could share of the back of the Special Miter Gauge sheet? I haven’t seen that version, and I’m curious if that came from Magna American Corporation , or Shopsmith, Inc. ? A...

Sandpaper - Through the Years While I find the disc sanding feature to be one of my very favorite features of a Shopsmith, it’s pretty clear America bought an awful lot of sandpaper back in the day that it never used! Something to know about the 12" Aluminum Sanding disks is there were two versions of the six ribbed Sanding Disk as seen in the pictures below. The earlier version, on the left, is heavier. Russ - thanks for sharing! What’s the provenance that confirmed for you that the heavier disc is Magna-m...

Re: Share your Magna memorabilia!
Sanding Discs - Through the Years Russ Chapman was kind enough to post a picture and share some background on the 10-inch combo (flat and conical) sanding disc that was standard on the Mark VII, and he motivated me to look for one. Happy to report I succeeded in finding one, and it arrived this wee...
