That might be the better choise for me too After more disassembling It's not looking good Apparently the cam I had was an extra heres what I found inside Power supply wires are rock hard and some are bare The sheave looks ok but the end where the bearing fits into has a piece missing Looks like the ...

Ok I'll keep looking for a replacement and maybe I can find one by the time I get everything checked,cleaned and painted
What would the good price be on this cam if I can find one ?

Took a few more pics after I cleaned the dirt off
Nothing is cracked but I can see where it is worn some what flat in one area
and a small piece is gone from the edge

Yes base doesn't appear to be to bad but will need to paint also

Just to try with the drive belt off the motor goes in forward and reverse.Didn't let it run but a few seconds,it does have an old Part # Poly V-Belt

Yes that was the one I bought
Has a 4" Magna jointer,chisels about 5 saw blades and a dozen or so fittings

Yes will need cam for sure not sure about anything else yet
Will start to dismantle,clean and check after the manual comes in
