Re: I am out of patience!
I will say that I had an extremely pleasant experience this week -- order for three items placed on 1/4, shipped out on 1/7, and should arrive on 1/12. No hassles at all -- and one part is especially needed, as "someone" let my rip fence hit the floor.

Re: Shopsmith part?
Thanks for all of your help -- the drawing is great, Dusty. My rails do look to be a bit off, so this will come in handy....but the floating table tubes are also a bit bent as well. Just more money that SWIMBO will not let me spend.

Shopsmith part?
I started to rifle through a box of "extras" that came with my 520 recently, and found something I had forgotten about -- this piece of aluminum that looks and feels as if it belongs to a part of the 520 table upgrade. I cannot find anything like it in the catalog or parts from the mothers...

Saw Blade Arbor Options
Total newbie question -- when I purchased my used 520, it came with one blade attached to the arbor on the right in the picture, which if I am reading other entries correctly is the model 555321. Three other arbors came with the unit, like the one on the left, which should be model 55608. Are there ...

Re: Jointer fence alignment help
I think we are chasing gnats here. The clamp behind the quadrant is minimally deformed(caused by over tightening), but is not contributing much to the 'problem'. It does explain the amount of rise above the infeed table when clamped. It can be corrected by judicious squeezing in a vise, but I would...

OK -- here are 3 pics which might helpJPG wrote:I think we need a pix of that 1/2 - 1 cm of bias.
A close up pix of the back side of the quadrant where ii slides on the bar might be enlightening. It is possible that a gorilla has already done his dastardly deed.

Re: Jointer fence alignment help
Thanks to to both of you. What about the fence angling back so that it is no longer square right to left? In other words, the work piece will cross the outfeed table 1/2-1cm farther back than along the infeed table. That does not affect anything. If you are face jointing a board you don't even need...
