never had a manual for mine.
It's pretty simple, alot more so than a mark 5.
There's a setscrew that holds in the quill, and the 2 top screws under the pulley are all that keep the drive shaft and bearings in the housing.
Real simple.

So, I'll be the devils advocate here....(it's what I do), Why go to the trouble to make them out of plastic, when a forum member here has already improved the originals by making them out of aluminum instead of plastic... which were famous for breaking. Honestly, if I were to restore or repair a MAR...

4) Check to see if the set screw is loose causing the knob to slip on the shaft(turns the outer dial without actually moving the shaft////sheaves). and to take that great advice a little deeper.. Pull it off and look at the shaft where the set screw seats, the can they get gouged out real bad somet...
