Old thread I know. I have 4 Mark VII's. 2 of them have issues in that they don't spin in reverse, they humm and then blow breaker. Any luck finding a good belt for the Mark VII from Autozone?? I have two Mark VII that I need a belt or two for. One came with a Shopsmith belt, the other without a belt. you are correct, these guys werent familiar with the punch process to seat the bearing. they were thinking about shiming the bearing with a fine metal film and then pressing or using an expansion compound around the bearing and activating. one guy suggested heating the collar and then compressing us...
