Re: SS V bandsaw eccentric tubes coming up short.

Re: SS V bandsaw eccentric tubes coming up short.
The short stub is roughly 2 1/4 " on all the eccentrics. I did some digging and found the original straight tubes with the stop collars. You are right, no side to side adjustment. It is a bit of a bear to get the vertical adjustment. I guess the power coupler takes up the difference. Why the de...

Re: SS V bandsaw eccentric tubes coming up short.
I measured mine and I get roughly 4,25" on the tube that goes into the BS. I have a "long" eccentric and it is roughly 6 5/8" long/

Trunnion lock nut on belt sander
Hello, The trunnion lock nut allows for "infinite" adjustment of the belt sander between vertical and horizontal settings. The through bolt and nut fixes the sander either in horizontal or vertical positions. I have removed the through bolt and nut to position the sander at a more comforta...

Re: Adjusting infeed table on jointer
Let me get this right. Run the hex nut on the underside with the clamping washer out far as I can. Lift up on the infeed table and drop the adjustment depth of cut adjustment knob grove into the casting saddle. Tighten the hex nut sufficiently to maintain depth setting.

Re: Adjusting infeed table on jointer
It will push, but not pull. How can I get shoulders on handle to slip over ears of casting. The stud and infeed table will not give enough clearance.
