Re: Forum sections - suggestion

I know about "Captain Eddie" and I have seen Youtube videos. I didn't say I didn't know how to do turnings, but I usually use one of my other lathes for the task. I know the Shopsmith is capable of doing turnings but I would like to read about some. I have a 10ER so it has the required wei...

Re: Forum sections - suggestion

I started reading the first few posts and they were somewhat pertaining to adding a pen turning section of this forum, among maybe others. I place my vote on adding a "pen turning" or just "turning" section. I am mainly a pen turner and I agree it is difficult to find information...

Re: Laptop

Great idea and a nice looking utility piece. I am going to put one or two of them (one for SWMBO and one for myself) on my to-do list.
Thanks, Tim.

Re: New Look Forum

When I logged on, or tried to I was unpleasantly surprised that everything has changed. The forum looks entirely different and I find it is more difficul...

Great score on the planer, I wish I could find one and be able to afford it. What size is your shop? It looks great by the way and nice garden. It all looks beautiful.

I really like the color scheme on your newly repainted 10 E/ER. I particularly like the two-tone paint job on the motor. Great job.

(I hope a couple people who were posting off-topic don't push you away from this very good, for the most part, site. lol)

Aren't the TBC bushings expendables too? It would seem they would also be worn down eventually by your lathe tools. Am I incorrect?

I would agree to also check out Penn State Industries. I have bought items for my shopsmith from them and they fit and work fine, for a lot less money too. JMHO.

I have no experience with those belts from HF but for that price I think I would give them a try and possibly report on here of how they worked. JMHO.
