Re: Mark VII Replace On/Off/On Toggle Switch
I still think this Taiss universal switch may be a good option? I didn't end up trying it as I was able to repair my original switch. There is a 12 terminal option which I think would work. https://www.amazon.com/Taiss-Universal-Changeover-Terminals-Connection/dp/B08GSB3J79/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&k...

Re: Mark VII a start and a long ways to go..
I'd suggest bench testing the switch with a continuity tester for each position checking which terminals should be open or closed for each position. The internal sliding plates and contacts for these switches is really complex. My contacts on a couple terminals were worn to a point where I was getti...

Re: Mark VII Impeller
I have the exact same issue with mine. The groove on the motor shaft that the snap ring fits into is worn on mine which allows the snap ring to work it's way out. I ran the motor and used a needle file to clean up the groove and make the edges somewhat square again. I also switched from a snap ring ...

Nice work Mike, steady progress. FYI, if you just slightly bevel the top of the board under the brackets to have slight inward slope it will rotate the bracket and pull the center of the bracket holes in the 1/16" you're looking for. You actually may be able to achieve this by adjusting how tig...

Re: Lower Saw Guard
Thanks David, yes, that is more like the system I would like to have, but prior to purchasing the lower and upper guards I currently have I did some research here and I believe the newer lower guards wont fit my Mark VII. At least not without modification. I am going to revisit this and do some more...

Re: Mark VII a start and a long ways to go..
Hi Mike, you already know my position, I would try to make the wheels fit rather than modify the frame, but with that said, I think your approach will work. Just be sure that when the wheel is in its lowest position it can completely spin around 360 degrees without hitting the inside of the shoe or ...

Re: Lower Saw Guard
Thanks Russ, I appreciate that. Took longer than that part was really worth, but I really need to use the table saw and dont like running it without the guard.
