Jointer guard upgrade template
The fence guard return spring in my old SS jointer broke in the middle of a project so I decided to upgrade the fence. I received the package last night only to find the drill template missing. Does anyone have a pdf version? I wanted to upgrade it this weekend so I could get back to the project.

520 table alignment on X and Y axis
On my 520 which I purchased on the secondary market, the Y axis (where the X axis is running with the tubes and the Y axis is running front to back) is not in-line with the quill. It is about 1/16” out over a 6” run. I’ve searched but not been able to find a remedy and can only think of shimming to ...

Re: GFCI protected circuits
I have both a 500 that I have owned for 35 years and power pro 520 and never had an issue until I built a new house two years ago. With the new arc preventing breakers I have had to change out to conventional breakers. No problem since.

Re: Power Pro idler hub
Thanks David. I pulled the missing screw from an old broken headstock a guy gave me so will install it when I get the new belt from SS. Hopefully the clamping bolt was not tight and that will correct it.
I have a 500 I bought new in 1985 and it only has the outward travel bolt.

Re: Power Pro idler hub
Thanks for the advice. I found it was missing the screw preventing outward travel and on top of that the upper belt has been rubbing against the headstock (I ordered a new belt because it is frayed on one side). The idler shaft and inside bearing had worked its way out of the bushing. I'm not able t...

Power Pro idler hub
I’m new to forum and after a few year absents from woodworking am now retired and ready to back at it. On my Power Pro headstock the idler shaft hub has crept somewhat into the belt cover. In fact I have to remove the vent plate to fully get to the set screw. Any ideas or suggestions?
