Re: Mark VII Speed Cam
I have an original one. Pm me if interested. I googled my way to this forum since my Mark VII (vintage 1960s)just melted the plastic speed cam. I came across the posts mostly dated around 2015 from many enterprising folks who were having this part made in plastic and aluminum and I didn't see anythi...

Re: badtheba has discovered something we didn't know existed
I also have two jointers, three jointer head rests, and two hinge plates. The three jointer head rests I believe to be aluminum, they are not cast. Both hinge plates are cast.
Would like to purchase another hinge plate if anyone has one they don’t need.

Re: I am out of patience!
There have been a lot of complaints from members of the shopsmith owners group on fb also. Being on back order is one thing but what seems to be a habit is customer service keeps telling people one day after another. IMO just be straight up with your customers and say you don’t know when an item wil...

Where Are Shopsmiths Manufactured
I see this posted on Facebook today. “I worked for SS back in the mid-90s. The issue is that all the parts (at least back then) were manufactured overseas and shipped to Dayton for assembly. They used just in time delivery methods and really struggled to match supply with demand when there were peak...
