1/8th inch bandsaw blade..
so I began making bandsaw boxes, but am stuck with 1/4 blades, which I need to change to 1/8th.
Doubtful I will order from ShopSmith directly so what exactly do I need, to get the right fit, what are the numbers....
of course if really cheap I might just order from SS directly.

Well folks, the job is done, the idler shaft, bearing, eccentric etc are all done, the MARK V is in full working order. In order to put the idler shaft in place I pulled off the bottom set spring and spring and washer, but likely didn't have too, I was forced to call my friend to help with it as he ...

rele ~ JPG's P.S re-removing the motor belt and pushing it up off the control sheave will allow you to move the idler shaft in to position. Oh I see it now, and do I need to remove the quill? I think it is called that, in order to do so? EDIT: also my belt was off center, much like described on the...

Okay, here is where I am at right now... You can see a misalignment with the pulleys, I think? http://i.imgur.com/dYF7W.jpg and here are a couple of shots showing where I am right now, the eccentric won't go all the way back yet, and the bearing on the idler shaft.... well you ALL know more about it...

Okay folks! My buddy just left, he TAPPED the hole and put a new bolt in it..... HOWEVER!! He pulled the eccentric out and took it home, slid it out off the idler shaft. He came back and put the eccentric back into place, BUT the idler shaft isn't setting into place yet. Seems it needs to go back an...

Rele Be Careful and do not tighten the big bolt under the eccentric too much. Doing so can result in one of the tabs breaking off the main casting. If that happens then you ARE in real trouble. Good and snug is good enough. Bill V ya, I have the belt tightened up and that thing snugged up, I was ca...
