Well, I hope it runs. If not, it's most likely a no go. The video mentioned something about frozen sheaves, can I tell if they are frozen? If they are frozen and I turn it on and adjust the speed, will it break?

Hmm...I can't bring that up here at home right now. I was looking at it at work today though, strange.

I saw an ad on craigslist for a "1950s shopsmith", can anyone give me some info on how to do a quick check of it to see if it is a bargain or basket case? I watched a video about it but still not sure. After I look at it and take epics I would like to post them and get input from experienced owners ...
