last time my set screw would not free up, I bought a hex drive socket and put it on an impact wrench. worked great. was that a bad idea?

Got back to aligning today. With dollar bill in place tightened the 2 bolts i had loosened, after checking that metier track was parallel to saw blade. Thanks for link. I am guessing previous owner was too cheap to use the spacer. Was not going to change the table alignment, but loosening 2 near side bolts will probably mean it needs it. Thanks for help. will let you know how it went when table alignment is done.
