Source for RAS shaft nut sought

Still getting my "new" Sawsmith RAS set up (before I ditch my wonderful Craftsman RAS). Looking for a source for the arbor nut on the right side, ACME RH 5/8 -11. For those not aware, one of the unique features of the RAS is the ability to put the saw blade and guard on either side. This i...

Belt solution found? The Ultimate Sawsmith Radial Arm Saw Thread

Working Belt replacement found: Just installed a link belt (Size 5L) and that does work, change speeds, etc. The saw does now have a new noise at high speed, but that may be an adjustment issue, as I had to disassemble much of the speed change mechanism to size & install. I will continue to fidd...

Adapting a non-shopsmith jointer to shopsmith

Hello, A few years ago I was unable to find an affordable Shopsmith jointer, but a little 4" craftsman popped up, so I rebuilt it, and adapted it to my Shopsmith. Thought y'all might find my mounting system helpful if you ever find yourself in the same situation, or have some other similar devi...
