First let me start by saying I love wood working I hate finishing. I am making an end table for the master to match some existing furniture. Since I'm new to this is there any reason not to use the power prop headstock in the vertical position with a router bit in the router arbor for routing along with the shaper fence?

What's your thoughts on using the Mark V shaper fence for an overhead routing
