Re: COVID-19 - Vaccine

Wife and I got our shots no reactions. I have noticed a few things. I now scratch behind my ear with my foot, I have a dislike for cats and at times I get an urge to chase cars. Nothing serious though.😂

Re: Doing my 2020 taxes

Dusty wisdom tells us it is better to owe than to get money back. Money back might appear to be free money but in fact it is money that the government has held for a year without playing you anything for it. Best would be a zero return where you do not owe nor get anything back. There are exceptions...

Re: New Brand of Cordless Tools from Lowes - FLEX

Something no one mentioned is the line of battery adapters that are slowing coming to market. These allow using one manufactures batteries on a competitors tool. I do not know if some of the new battery sensor technology will stop this but right now most major brands have an adapter that allows the ...

Re: New Brand of Cordless Tools from Lowes - FLEX

Interesting Chervon manufactures Ego, Skill, Skillsaw, Kobalt, Xtron, Flex, Devon, Calmdura. Most brand sold in Lowe’s. I think the idea is Skill will be entry, Kobalt will be mid, and Flex will be pro. I also heard that the Flex line may include pro quality outdoor tools which is presently held by ...

Another way to do this is use a miter saw. A whole lot easier and you do not have to buy anything extra.

Re: Woodpeckers 1283 - Cool Tool or Fool Tool???

I do not know what framers are using today but in the 2000-2010 they were using Makita saws. Reason they could take a fall from a 8-12 feet onto concrete and survive. Framers drop tools and need tools that can take falls from side walls onto the concrete or sub floor without failure. I watched a ton...

Re: Scott's My Growth Rings youtube channel & website

Link does not work! The link to carter products posted above in the forum. Used the link in YouTube and it worked fine but the one you included above to go to Carter’s products for SS products gives an error. Not sure why but it does. Figured you want to know. I think the link is one constructed an...
