My Mark V uses a DPDT switch for the 1 1/8 hp motor. It switches both the hot and the neutral side of the wiring. Why don't you use the switch that was in the '84. Switch Replacment on Mark V Greenie
I recently purchased an older Mark V Greenie, and replaced the 3/4 HP AO Smith motor with a 1 1/8 HP motor I took out of a 1984 Mark V when I upgraded my original to a Power Pro motor controller. However now I need to replace the switch in the Greenie, as it has burnt out and will not start my 1 1/8...

I just purchased a Mark 5 Greenie, and it has a 3/4 HP AO Motor with external capacitor. It was working when I removed it, but the wiring is original and should be replaced. I am willing to sell this motor if interested.
