Re: SC Johnson Paste Wax

Furniture waxes have evolved to provide better protection and ease of use. I personally like the Black Bison brand, but also have used Staples, Briwax, Renaissance wax, and another in a blue and white can I don't recall the name of. Generally waxes that are hard to apply and buff off have some carna...

Re: Shipping Lead Time

The items I ordered were on the weekly special. I guess they sold out before I ordered. I will wait because they are parts I want. My opinion is that if Shopsmith intends to reach a new generation of users, they will slow down that expansion if they take months to produce and ship the products. If I...

Shipping Lead Time

I placed an order on 2/23/2025 for some of the items on sale. Saw arbors, splitter, etc. Total of order around $99. The order has not shipped. There are other items I would consider ordering but Shopsmith has them on backorder. I called them to ask about availability on several items, and the order ...

Re: Power Pro 1 popped the breaker

[/quote] Wouldn't be cheap. Problem is there may not be enough people that take advantage of it to make it practical for Shopsmith to support. Many owners wouldn't be motivated to start paying for a service plan after the warranty expires. If they're PowerPro is working fine at that point they'll te...

Tool / Accessory Shelf Drawings

I have looked and searched on the forum and in my old papers for the line drawings of the accessory shelf for a 520 machine. I bought one on ebay sometime back, but after installing it realized it is for the 510 machine. Non of the links I have found in the forums for a drawing are good. Can anyone ...

Re: Power Pro 1 popped the breaker

Outside of the cost of the Power Pro 2 headstock, this risk is what is keeping me from buying it. If Shopsmith is to grow sales of the new technology, they need an exchange program for the PP II headstock. Similar to what Ed states. I will stick with my mechanical headstock until then.

Re: 2024 Taxes

I lived in Cottage Grove 4 years in 1997-2001. Nice place to live if you can ignore the politics and the cold weather. My first year I attended Dakota County Technical College in the Wood Finishing program. Worked for a Haworth furniture dealer repairing finishes. Moved back to Arkansas in 2001 and ...
