You are probably correct in your assumption. This is the second time that it has happened and only when I set it up as a drill press. It was a quick fix for now. Maybe.

I have also been through all the suggested things to check and finally took the belt cover off my 510 and tapped on the motor shaft with a rubber mallet. What do you know? The darn thing started right up. I think it was something in the centrifugal switch that freed up. I hope this helps everyone ...
