The picture below is the spacer you are referring to for the Lower Saw Blade Guard 505628. It is made of aluminum and very flexible. Blade guard spacer

My table saw blade guard (lower) had a thin cheap feeling aluminium spacer at the bottom I can bend it with my fingers can this be right? The guard looks like a 505628

I bought a set out screws and Tinnerman clips from Harbor Freight because one clip was missing from my 81 M5 they worked great. The screws to my motor pan are 8-5/8
