I have a speed reducer for sale. Will have to figure out what is a reasonable price.

reassembling speed control
I have watched Jacob Anderson's video on reassembly of the headstock and specifically reinstalling the speed controller. However, he does not explain where to position the speed dial indicator when screwing in the new controller. Or perhaps I missed it. Could someone please help me with this?

Thanks everyone for all of your help. I have ordered the replacement parts so hopefully it will be up and running again next week. You guys were very helpful. Not sure I would have had the confidence to have done this without your help!!!

speed reducer sparks
with the back cover off...I can see small sparks where the shaft meets the speed controller. Is this normal? Also my speed controller won't go any lower than Dado even though I have lubricated according to videos.
