Can't help with the second part of the problem, your motor, but the first part, tripping the breaker is probably caused by 20 amps drawn on a 15 amp circuit, which is most home circuit capacity. Many times it ran and would quit, and once in a while it would run fine, all due to amperage of wire to ...

Used a Harbor Freight cheapie and that worked, and mine had been on since about 1969. The book recommends 150* oven, but like the guy before me says, wait until SWMBO is out of the house.

How much money do you have, and then I'll tell you which router.
Personally, and I've 6 different brands, I really like the basic Porter Cable 690. It really is basic, so those fine adjustments have to be made by you, the primary and best tool around. Watch those fingers and wear ears & eyes.

You have a "Goldie", for obvious reasons. Look on the plate and write down the number and we will show you what month & year it was made. Need that number though. Good luck, stick around, there's a TON of stuff. Also, post where you live and there may be help just down the street from you.

Why wood it make a difference of which disk ya use for the Velcro disk? You do know that ya shouldn't use the ...

But how do I clean and old disc? Took old sandpaper off an old disc with a heat gun and got 99% off. Some sticky stuff left. Do I sand it? Wire brush it? Chemicals? What kind? Tried alcohol and nada. Will try paint thinner but don't want to ruin it for the velcro I am going to put on it. Any ideas ...

New To Me, Again

Was on this forum a couple of years ago, got off into other things, but now back. Problem is: this forum has not really changed, except for the Administrative part. Had to re-list, and give my address, etc, and it was over a non-secure line! Am amazed, and I can't use my old name, Len, or email ...

EvapoRust

Try the above, EvapoRust. Harbor Freight has it, about $20 USD.
Get a PVC pipe big enough to hold a tube, and get a cap for that pipe. Pour it in, put your tube in, wait 24 hours, take it out and viola!
Depending on the amount of rust you may use the same fluid again. Great stuff. OR you can use ...
