Yes, pens can be done on a Shopsmith. And other small things also. just wanted to say thank you to everyone, it really wasnt a major deal. the table, quill and everything else is checking fine, was more of a observation but i did go over the links and suggestion and i do appreciate eveyones time.

the tubes in the upright are just shy of 90 about 1/2 a bubble and the same on the other end in the upright, but in the horizontal she is dead true, and the table to quill is true, every other item i have checked so far has been close as possible.

Has anyone done one of mr reids or the ShopSmith webinars ? and approximately how long do they last, how much bandwidth is needed? and is a mic & Cam needed ??

we are out in the rural and my internet drifts between 5 meg and 11 meg down "a real good day".
