dusty wrote: Thu Mar 02, 2023 12:37 pm You probably will not find 4x8 baltic birch and you might not find it in a box store. I buy from Woodworkers Source and try to keep sizable pieces on hand. I enjoy working with it.
1/2 inch Baltic birch is $117 for 4x8 sheet at Woodworkers Source!

510 to 520 conversion parts wanted

I’m looking to upgrade my 510 to a 520, might any of you have (or know where I can get) all or most of the parts for sale used that are shown in the attached photo? Can seem to find them on eBay without cherry picking here & there. What would be a fair price to pay for the upgrade used? Shopsmit...

HDPE or Masonite for zero clearance insert?

I’m going to make a zero clearance insert for my 510 and was wondering if anyone has used HDPE, or do most of you used Masonite or what? And what thickness material is best?

510 to 520 upgrade?

I have a 1995 Mark 510 that I am considering upgrading to a 520. In your guys’ opinion, is it worth it? Can I’m just buy the 520 fence & table extrusions used & do it, or is there more to it than that? What would be a fair price to pay for those pieces used?

I want rough sawn look, that you tube video is for weathered or barnwood. But thanks, anyway. I did find a YouTube video that says take an old table saw blade & slighty bend one tooth.
