I should mention I floated all suggestions pass the Commander and Chief and this what she thinks she wants. I mention thinks since the last project I made for her had NUMEROUS prototypes ending up it the recycle bin. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I think and I repeat I think my wife has decided that this might be the way I am to proceed 🤪
If it is I will post a final photo if not back to the drawing board. We (she) decided the tapering way is how we (she) wants it.

OK this was what I started with but she would like it on both sides but with the bottom having more layers than the top on both side but still have the overlap. Sorry best I can try to explain.

My better half would like me to make some 8” to 10” Christmas trees for her seasonal decorations. She wants them to look kind of 3dish but only be two sided with the bottom being thicker than the top but not on a slant. I’ve given her a couple ideas but she does not care for them. Just a thought. If necessary a thin scrap could be placed under vice grips to assure no damage.

Thank all of you. I started out with a block under the end and when trying to pry the wheel off it came off with the housing. Tried to get housing back in was was having too much trouble. Removed wheel assembly and after some difficulty getting housing back in I put new wheel in and housing back. I ...
