Re: Sewing cabinet

You'll never be sorry making a sewing cabinet. The one I made for my wife is still in use 36 years later. I really like the way it folds.

General Computer Question

I have an older computer running Windows 10 (at least I'm pretty sure it is). For many years I've used Firefox for a browser, always without issues. Last week I signed into the credit union to check activity (deposits, auto withdrawals etc.). The system would not let me view any of my statements. I ...

Re: Where is the best place to buy/find wood.

I don't know the "best" place to get lumber, but I'll list places I've found wood that was suitable for the work I was doing. To some extent it depends on the area you live in and the people you know and the kind of projects you're interested in building. I purchase some stock from HD and ...

Urethane Band Saw Tires

I'm putting those orange urethane tires on and wondered if those of you who've done this had any tips. Or can direct me to a thread that's covered this maintenance procedure. Thanks so much taking time, I know everyone is busy right now.

I scrolled a cake topper, a surprise her mother and I thought would be fun. cake topper 412 (2).jpg The other item is an a...

Re: Anti-robocalls bill

I don't know if it's my or service provider but for a couple months when I receive a call there's a message on the screen "This may be a spam caller, should I screen the call?" If I click "yes" a computer says to the caller, I don't hear this but see the text, "The person yo...

Re: Power Station

Clearly I don't really know the difference between the Power Stand and Crafters version. Can one of you, who have way more knowledge of SS products/history, sketch out the differences or maybe pics? And perhaps one of you can direct me to a thread that provides detailed info a making a shorty? I mus...

Power Station

I have a opportunity to purchase an older power station. I only have one SS so I'm always changing set-ups from one function to another. I thought maybe this would allow me to permanently have the band saw ready to go. The owner wants $300. For those who have a power station - is it a useful accesso...
