I read this thread rather hurriedly and may have missed something. I find that periodically I need to level both end tables to the center table in order to make the LS system work easily. This usually takes a few minutes and seems to last awhile. I do find that all of my jigs work more smoothly when...

I'm still sitting on a recall for a Toyota power window switch. Someday that thing will go up in flames, and then I'll say, "I should've taken care of it." Reminds me of a former neighbor who showed up at my door and asked if I happened to see who took his truck. I had not and he commente...

A couple of years ago I tried the new carbide cutters like those shown at this attached link. http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/catalog/ewt_chisels.htm I now possess a variety both large and...

[quote="JPG40504"] FWIW: This year is my maiden voyage with Medicare Plan D. The fine print re what initial period expenses are constitutes a scam as far as I am concerned. Why should the insurance companies 'out of pocket expenses' contribute to my initial period calculation that takes me...

The only way I have perfect luck with mitered corners is the Incra 5000 sled. Set up and checked with the machinist square the corners are perfect every time. Jim

Interesting discussion. I have two 520's, one came new from Shopsmith that way. The other I purchased as a 510 and upgraded it. When the Power Pro was introduced I upgraded my original machine to the Power Pro. Later I was treated to a demo of the Mark 7 and decided to upgrade both machines with the...

[quote="charlese"]Without looking, I believe these instructions are included in the PowerPro manual, in the troubleshooting section. As I remember, the only difference is to remove the black plastic motor cover and blow out any dust. This is done to clear up blockage of the infra-red senso...
