I've been "rediscovering" hand tools myself. Maybe from watching Gibbs on NCIS building a boat using them. For small pieces I find a hand saw is usually faster. The fine toothed Japanese style saws make very smooth cuts. The saw that Bridge City sells (pretty much the only thing they sell ...
