Adjustable vs Stacked Dado Blade Choice?
(1) Is the wobble of the blade hard on the motor shaft or bearings? (2) I also have a SS 6" stacked dado blade. Any advise on how to choose between the two setups (certain types of projects, accuracy of cut, ease of setup, etc)? (3) Are there differences in speed selection for the adjustable da...

Shopsmith Adjustable Dado Blade
I recently was given a used Shopsmith Adjustable Dado Blade with an arbor. In doing some research on it, it appears to be a wobble dado blade. I didn't find any positive statements about it on the internet. Does this have any shop value or best to just get rid of it?

Cleaning Way and Bench Tubes??
I am new to Shopsmith. I am cleaning up a 520 that sat in a garage for 6 years. The way and bench tubes are not rusted, but they feel rough in places. People seem to use WD40, Scotch Brite, or steel wool first -- then mineral spirits or denatured alcohol to clean the tubes before using Johnson's pas...

Removing lower wheel on bandsaw
I am new to this forum so hopefully I post this message correctly. I am reconditioning a newer Shopsmith Bandsaw. How difficult is it to removing the lower wheel? Are there special tools necessary to do this? Thanks...
