You need to remember that the Power Pro is controlled by what is basically a computer. Like all computers, it will lock up, glitch, and do all kinds of stupid things that will force you to power fail it and reboot it. Get used to it or go back to something mechanical that doesn't have the option to ...

No thanks, I'll get my science advice from the real scientist who have carefully studied this stuff everyday for many years. Not someone standing in their back yard holding a thermometer. . Just remember that your so called "real scientists" already have been caught falsifying their numbe...

Agree. The wood in the particle board isn't the problem. The glue that holds it together will likely eat up your blades.
I'd use wood instead of MDF. Wood is a better product.

Water based products always seem to disappoint me. They lack the long term durability of the oil based products. If you use oil based urethane, you can expect your finish to last longer than you do. With water based products, don't be surprised if you end up re-doing it again sometime in the future....

From what I've experienced on other forums, this wouldn't be any kind of solution. If you can't trust people to post in an existing thread, you can't trust them to block or delete posts from other users. The originator of the post is not a neutral party. I say it needs to be left as-is. The Administ...

I get tired just reading all of this. My garage doors have openers so old they don't have rotating codes, beam sensors, or any of that fancy gagetry. Just set the code and leave it for the rest of your life. Mine are 1960s vintage and they just work every time. I've never had them fail to open or cl...

I don't have a dust collector, but I sweep up a couple of buckets of sawdust from my workshop floor each winter. I save it and dump it around the fruit trees in my orchard for mulch.

I'm surprised you found any T12 lamps today. They are obsolete and no longer made in 4' and some other lengths.
But, a new T8 fixture and some new T8 lamps are cheap, so when an old T12 fixture has problems, you are money ahead junking it and putting in T8s. You also save some electricity.

I have both a 6" and an 8" dado. Both work just fine. The only advantage I see to a larger size would be depth of cut which would be seldom if ever needed.
