I think thats right, its atleast how I use mine. I don't 100% trust that in "free to rotate" mode, it accurately represents plunge depth...so i always

This dont feel right..
Trying to think of a way to clean out those corners in a circular way. I would use the 2x4 backstop to limit how far I could push the "cross" into the bit, and then the right 2x4 as a guide to run along. It just feels like -pardon the pun - all hell's gonna break loose though. Having a day...

Re: Question why do you want to know the RPM of your Headstock
Having started with powerPro, I came in not knowing any speed settings needed for each SPT. The sticker label listing the recommended RPMs was great back then when I hadnt internalized the values. The reported RPM on the LCD display in agreement with the label confirmed for me I had setup correctly ...

Re: Fluffy shavings and 3300
Similar issue on my Jet 600 when using planer or jointer. I added a cyclone separator ahead of the inlet and this solved the problem.

Re: Name that Jig...
I would say the leftmost jig is for making tenons on board ends at 90 degrees (though it could be a little longer for more support on the fence) . Which was later replaced with the larger variable angle tenon jig in the last pic.

Re: 1st Box attempt

You can kind of see it here in this earlier s...
