Stumbled on your Windsor chair pic and thought the background looked familiar. I'm by Henry Horton.

Awesome Fluting jig

Just used it for 16 fluted panels. Smooth as silk and could be used one handed easily! $10 for hardware. I started to buy the $70 fluting jig from Rockler for a 21' bookcase/cabinet set that I am building then spotted plans for this jig and decided I might like it better. It has a fixed fence and an...

Route an oversized slot in board using a round nose bit, then glue in a strip of sandpaper. Chuck dowel in the drill press and sand to rounded shape. I would first chamber on the disk sander to save wear on your paper during the final shaping.

Identify this SS item

Spotted an SS with an accessory that I can't identify, but has several things that I would like to have. Already have one up for sale from my last hopefully free upgrade to my keeper. Trying to decide if I want to pop on this one for more upgrades. To what is the saw blade attached? I can go with He...

Very interesting, but garly piece of oak that even defied the Easy Wood carbide tools. The Sorby Ultima conquered it in the end. The thing about cast parts is that they fatique and give up the ghost sometimes. I have the universal tool rest so I am not down, but I really like to use the regular tool...

Dusty was dead on with the call for screw #9. I had to release the headstock ways to find the hole. Thanks for saving me a lot of time searching.

Large Allen Screw

While using my joiner, I heard a noise soon followed by a large (~1/2" dia.) allen screw bouncing on the floor between the joiner and the headstock area of my SS. The SS still worked fine with no other noise. The noise I heard seemed to be from the headstock area. So far I haven't been able to ...
