Re: New to me belt sander and stand
I’m suspecting something Craftsman but haven’t found anything with the wings like those the motor is mounted to. They are separate pieces and seem allow the motor to sag to provide belt tension. The opening in the top is not just a rectangle but has two witdhs, hard to see with the SPT base in the w...

New to me belt sander and stand
Picked this up on FB Marketplace today for $100. The belt sander Id tag is gone but it has smaller dust collection port so no idea of its age but older. The drive roller doesn’t have a rubber sleeve. Did they make any that did not have rubber sleeves? I need to work on the tensioner and get a 5 or 6...

Neither ice nor snow nor rain…

At 43 I can’t believe he’s almost as old as me :D , I decided to identify as 50… Anyway ,Pinterest and then Etsy led me down the birdhouse path and this happened. :( :( sorry...

Kreg jig dust collection
I’m making a set of cornhole boards for a nephew. I took some time to rig up dust collection for my Kreg K4 jig. I had some old vacuum cleaner parts and cobbled this together to hook up to my shop vac. It worked really well. E6053688-94FB-477B-9877-99ACC6ED9502.jpeg F876EC03-1E6E-4E88-9E30-7FC597227...

Re: Older Mk v shaper fence update?
Here is a proof of concept to attach the shaper fence my 520 fence using SS T-nuts. I also have some WoodAnchor nuts I got from BuckeyDennis that could be used to attach new fences to the shaper fence. I believe this could work on the 510 fence as well. I can see making this nearly like the pro rout...
