Yes I use those router bit centering gauges all the time. So much so that I have two of them. One with my router stuff and another in my drill press stuff.

I'm glad you found them and I would recommend that if you don't have at least one you should get one.

Hi, yes the new blades are thinner but I have the older TS55 and the blades do not work with that version. The riving knife would be the issue I think but I have not verified that. I'll give a try. I use to have some plant identifier on ma android phone but it was pretty so so at doing it rigth.

I've not been happy with the rule system on the 520. When I was ordering my 520 upgrade kit I got a call from shopsmith asking if it would be OK to send that version as they were in the change over from the old to the new. I of course said yes. The results are in. The raccoon was first on the seen and didn't want to share so it ate it all. It was cute how it used both front paws to lift the cup. I also like how it reached in the cup to make sure there wasn't something stuck inside. Keep in mind we get to see a well lit area but the critter...

Today was make a fence day. Not all that exciting but it was on my list of things to do. And here it is:

Not sure why I gave it so much adjustment away from center since the notch in the fence is only an inch wide???? Maybe it will come in useful at some point.
