Yea that is the way to go for sure. Not sure why shopsmith doesn't sell a kit for this upgrade, alot of old machines could sure use it.... now of course it would be hard to sell here because everyone just how easy it is to do.... Hi, Can anyone post a picture of this from several views? I would like a view from the front of the machine that shows just how low things hang and maybe what it looks like when it is vertical... if you could maybe one at 45 deg or so. Yes do replace the bolts with studs!
