Re: Headstock Box
I believe my PowerPro came with a lot of the thick brown paper rolled up and stuffed around it. It seemed to be supported pretty well.

Re: Hello again, hello...
One last thing: How much larger (in horsepower) than the Greenie motor is the motor in the 510/520 units? I think the 510/520 motor is 1-3/4hp as I recall. What's the Greenie...1-1/8hp? TB Unless you have a PowerPro, the 510/520 is 1 1/8 HP. The greenie is 3/4 HP, I believe. Someone correct me if I...

Re: Lower Saw Guard Trouble
I am slightly disappointed about not being able to use the stabilizer, as the blade I am using is a Forrest Woodworker II thin-kerf. Does anyone else on here use thin-kerf blades, and if so, have they had problems with runout when not using a stabilizer? I figured with the Shopsmith's motor, thin k...

Re: Lower Saw Guard Trouble
I notice you have the sliding outer guard all the way in next to the blade. That is not how you should have it set. It's more likely that the stabilizer is the culprit, but you should move the outer guard out away from the blade, but only to the point that it will not interfere with lowering the tab...

Re: Anyone own these? Box Clamps
I have 4 of these: http://www.wolfcraft.com/en/products/p/corner_clamps/2_es_22_corner_clamps/s/p/index.html I bought them at Menards. They are currently on sale there for $6.39 for a pair. They will hold a corner together for assembly, but don't expect the spring to make a rigid setup. For the pric...

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
Please, someone, come and get this before I lose my willpower and buy it for myself. A pristine looking 520 and a strip sander plus "boxes of parts" for $750? Madness! http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/tls/5357299645.html It's listed as a 510, but that looks like a 520 table. Nice! U...

Re: Scroll Saw Won't Hold Tension Under Power
Since you bought this saw used, have you checked a parts diagram to verify that you aren't missing parts?

Re: ShopSmith Table Saw scale and indicator
Good idea, Dusty. I guess you would have to glue the magnets to the fence.
