I was doing a little turning on my 83 model 500 'B' head-stock. Advancing the speed as the wood was reduced in size, I heard a snap, pop, and the sound of a small piece of metal landing on the bottom of the motor housing. I was also in Hawaii on Dec 7th, 1991. The 50th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. Attended a couple of the memorials and they all were very moving. Being an ex Sailor, it is near and dear.
