So, I picked up an entire 510 table set (plus more stuff) off eBay.
All of it is disassembled. Is there a guide on how to put these together?
Even came with a new carriage and main table, all apart.

Ah...now I see. Yeah, that definitely is a better idea.
Looks like I'll be redesigning this sucker soon. Stay tuned for updates.

Shopsmith Bandsaw Fence
Tried searching for some reviews of this thing...but came up empty. Looking for opinions on the Shopsmith Bandsaw Fence, as seen in this link: http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/itemfind.htm?item=555668 Is it as good as, or better, than 3rd party fences? What 3rd party fences will fit on the SS band...

They have both a tip-over sensor, and an oxygen sensor. They are fine for nylon tents, so long as you have a little ventilation. And great for canvas tents.joedw00 wrote: They are made for inside use and I have a window unzipped a little.
I've used one for many, many years while camping.

Got any photos of it?
I'm quite open to changing the design.

Re: Where did you get your shopsmith?
Back in the early 80's, my paternal Grandfather had one. I loved watching him make stuff on it (I was in my teens then). After he passed around '89, my grandmother foolishly sold all his woodworking tools, including his SS, to her "friends" at church...for pennies on the dollar. Go forward...

Just measured the waytubes on my SS. They are abou 48-1/2" long. So, yeah, those hangers will have to go inboard. Will change that on my SketchUp model.

From what I can see, it hangs underneath, and when you use the Shopsmith's casters to stationary (with the foot levers), it lowers it to sit on the floor.
I'll see for certain once I make it. But, it seems right.
